Hi, I'm Dr Umesh Joshi. I’m a Consultant Counselling Psychologist in the NHS and a Teaching Fellow at King’s College London. My private practice is based in Medical London by Harley Street. I believe that everyone deserves access to mental health support that truly meets their needs, delivered with empathy, thoughtfulness, and a deep understanding of each individual’s unique story.
 
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. My aim is to make that process easier by offering a calm, confidential space to explore what’s going on for you. Whether you’re still figuring things out or already know what you’d like to work on, I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as we work towards change.
 
With over a decade of experience across NHS and private settings, I’ve supported children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds, and I bring a respectful, client-centred approach to every session. I’m trained in Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Systemic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, which means we can tailor our work to suit your needs rather than fitting you into a one-size-fits-all model.
